The Trabant is a carnival-style flat ride where riders board a circular vehicle that spins and pivots on a rotating axis. The varying movements create the sensation of traveling up and down a series of hills, while traveling in a circle.

The Trabant opened in 2005 as a replacement to the Monster flat ride, which was a popular Octopus-style attraction that became cost-prohibitive to maintain. The Trabant was the only all-new attraction of 2005 and was not promoted by the park, likely due to the fact that the ride is not a huge draw and can be found at many carnivals and theme parks across the country.
